Come join us at Prichard and Ure for a special evening of conversation with author, Sofka Zinovieff, and Brand and Retail Expert, Broadcaster and author Mary Portas.
We are delighted to be hosting this intimate evening in our unique space on the mezzanine level of forty year old social enterprise, Camden Garden Centre. Settle in with a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink for what promises to be a most entertaining evening as Sofka and Mary talk about Sofka’s latest novel, STEALING DAD, and Mary’s forthcoming memoir I Shop, Therefore I Am – A GUARDIAN ‘BEST BOOK TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2025’
Copies of Stealing Dad will be available and you will be able to pre-order I Shop, Therefore I Am. Following the conversation, the bar will be open and we will be setting out a little complimentary sample of Pritchard & Ure food. We think we have one of the quirkiest spaces in London. From a vantage point overlooking the greenery of Camden Garden Centre’s indoor plant display and views to their vast outdoor plant displays is located our small but lovingly curated bookshop with over a thousand books spanning contemporary fiction and non as well as a selection of antiquarian books which is itself nestled intimately in with our ten year old restaurant which was recently featured in an Observer top UK restaurant list – their words were “A curated space for book lovers and epicures”
